Morry Taylor Gets 4 More Years

by admin on October 14, 2008

Even though “The Grizz” failed in his bid for President several years back, it has not kept him from being elected to another 4 year term as Chairman of Titan International (TWI-Click for current stock price).

Their current COO, Ernie Rodia, will be retiring, and will be replaced shortly. He will remain on the payroll as a consultant, according to reports issued by Titan. He has been credited with leading the charge on Titan’s production of super-Giant radials.

With Titan stock( and indeed, plenty of other stocks) in a freefall, Titan will need a steady hand at the wheel. It will be interesting to see who the bring on to replace Mr. Rodia. He had spent 37 years with Goodyear before his defection to Titan. We wonder if they will hire someone equally experienced to replace him. They would almost have to, in order to keep confidence with investors.

We’ll keep you up-to-date on the details as they emerge.

‘Till then, we’ll be…

Signing off…
